A guide to the inner workings
of the School of Witchers

The Witcher Ekaitz, from the School of the Wolf, is wounded during a confrontation with a basilisk and is taken to the temple of Ellander for treatment. He records his knowledge in a notebook during his convalescence and gives advice to apprentice Witchers.

He has a gift for drawing and his story is accompanied by sketches that are like snapshots from his memory. With the help of ancient writings and of his experiences, Eikatz evokes the long apprenticeship and all the disciplines that a Witcher must master.

Everything is carefully recorded in his Witcher’s Handbook: from the history of the Continent and the Conjunction of the Spheres, which saw several worlds collide, to the different humanoid peoples and hostile creatures and their specificities, and recipes for the potions and ointments needed to confront them.
