A parody of the latest Star Wars trilogy

Once upon a time, not so long ago, in a galaxy awash with explanatory texts written in huge yellow letters, a droid by the name of 32D, who suffers from the little-known intergalactic ailment Tourelle Syndrome, finds a clue that can lead to an ageing Jeding master, Sky Lukewalker. As he sets out to track him down, the droid meets Bumcrack, a girl with the unique ability to kick ass without exerting herself in any way.

With vague help from Poe Pot and Thin, respectively the galaxy’s best pilot and its top deserter, Bumcrack and 32D must confront the Thirst Order, a decidedly non-inclusive organisation, and along with it Master Kilo and his army of Stormbloopers.

The Star Wars saga has delighted generations of fans who savoured the three latest episodes as the end of a cinematic adventure launched more than 40 years ago. That epic story more than merits its own parody novel, one that will sit alongside Game of Trolls, Bored of the Rings, The Hunger Pains and Fifty Shames of Earl Grey.
