After the tragic death of her husband, Lalie believes that love is now a thing of the past for her. But after several years of trying to pick up the pieces of her broken heart, she suddenly finds herself in a tumultuous love life. How can she possibly decide between Léo and Christophe, both vying for her affection? She wonders if she can bring herself to trust either.

For Lalie has been scarred by what she believes is a terrible betrayal by her sister, whom she wrongly suspects of having been her late husband’s mistress and responsible for the accident in which he lost his life. It is a burden which has torn apart her family and brought her great suffering.
